Be curious and be open to change! Humans innately have a hard time with change. Challenge your initial response from 'That is not how we do things' to 'Why not?'. 

We embrace mistakes! We can only advance with the courage to take chances and fail. Nothing remains static, nor should it. Have grace for yourself and support others through the dynamic process of innovation.

Life is supposed to be joyful, and so should the workplace! Happy people stay and do great things. Since a large part of life is spent at work, why not prioritize joy?
